About Looking to move to Toledo Ohio but

Looking to move to Toledo Ohio but.......?
I am 45 and disabled, I am on a fixed income and qualify for subsadized housing, I can not seem to be able to find any single level apartments that work for disabled and government assistance in Toldo. Can someone please offer some suggestions.

Contact the ACLU and the governmental authorities with respect to discriminatory practices within the community.

About 16. Jobs won't hire you if you are below that age because of laws. But also because of your age you would probably be forced to work part-time. Not all places do that though. Some treat you as a regular employee and leave it up to you say that you need a lighter schedule due to school.

i got this job but they said that since im under 18 i have to get a work permit to work there, i have until next wednesday at 5 to get one i live in toledo ohio and i am 17 years old do you know were i can go to get one like any departments or something thank you im online schooled so i have no employment counseler or anything of the such

I got the same degree and just got a second interview set up for an entry level HR position in Toledo. It took me 8 months to get that so you may have your work cut out for you. I may just give up Ive I dont get this.

What jobs in Toledo, Ohio would be available to hard workers under the age of 16? More like, 15?
I am a 15 year old girl who is looking for a job to pay for college classes and a car. I understand most places won't allow for under that age with the laws and all. But I am really wanting and needing a job. I am a hard worker and always on time. I just worked with Cold Stone Creamery out here, but I need something else, something different. Can you please help me look for a good job that allows under 16? I will be 16 in October.

ohio is one of the worst places for jobs...ohio is losing all it's young people due to lack of jobs. i reside in ohio, and my 15 year old daughter has a job at mc donalds. dairy queen also hires 15 year olds. good luck.

Try working at a library. I worked there part time when I was 15 and I live in Ohio. Also, working at a library is fascinating. You can study books on how to make money while at work. Good Luck ;-)

check out the library or even meyjers or try a small town supermarket

Try dine-in restaurants that don't sell alcohol. Examples: Bob Evans, IHOP, Cafe Marie's (restaurants like Cafe Marie's have breakfast/lunch hours - 7a to 3p). Also, the Westfield/Franklin Park Mall stores are always looking for summer help.
